Install Bound on your Shopify store
Install the app
Install Bound from the Shopify App Store, then open it from Apps in your Shopify admin. Bound is an embedded app — everything happens inside the admin, there’s no separate dashboard to sign into.
On first install, Bound provisions your store’s environment automatically:
- An app proxy so your published workers are reachable from your storefront domain.
- A Storefront API access token, stored as a secret, so workers can call the Storefront API.
Nothing else is required — you can create your first worker straight away.
Permissions
Bound requests only the scopes it needs:
unauthenticated_read_product_listings— required to create the Storefront API token your workers use.write_app_proxy— required to route storefront requests to your workers.
Bound stores no customer data.
