What Bound is and how it works
Bound is a Shopify app that lets you write, publish, and run custom Cloudflare Workers directly from your Shopify admin — no hosting or infrastructure to manage.
Each shop gets its own isolated environment. Workers you write can respond to HTTP requests through your store’s app proxy, run as Shopify Flow actions, and call Shopify’s Admin and Storefront APIs with authentication handled for you.
What you can do with it
- Custom storefront endpoints — serve dynamic responses (JSON, HTML, anything) from your store’s domain via the app proxy.
- Shopify API access — query the Admin and Storefront GraphQL APIs from inside your worker with pre-authenticated clients.
- Automation — trigger workers from Shopify Flow with the “Run worker” action, passing order or customer data in the request body.
- Secrets — store API keys and tokens as write-only secrets and opt workers into them individually.
